Who we are
Bokdle is run by Gary Kahn (sole proprietor), trading as GOAT Sports. Contact: [email protected].By using the site you agree to these terms.
The game
Bokdle is a free game provided for entertainment and supported by advertising. Player facts and statistics come from public sources and may contain errors; we don't guarantee their accuracy. We may change, pause or stop any part of the game at any time.
Who can play
The game is for a general audience and is not aimed at children under 13.
Accounts, groups and leaderboards
Accounts are optional and free. They're for people aged 18 or over, or younger players with a parent's or guardian's consent. Keep access to your email or Google account secure: anyone who can open your sign-in emails can use your account.
Nicknames must not be offensive, impersonate anyone (including us, a team or a player) or contain personal details. We may change or hide a nickname, remove results from the leaderboards, or close an account that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe has cheated, for example by using answers found elsewhere or automated play. The same applies to group names. Leaderboards and groups are for fun: there are no prizes. Only share a group's invite link with people you want in it; the group's owner can remove members and make a new link. You can delete your account at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't try to disrupt the service, get around its limits, scrape it at scale, uncover answers before they're released, or click on ads fraudulently.
Content and trademarks
The game's design and code belong to us. Player data comes from Wikidata (CC0) and Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0), and photos from Wikimedia Commons under their authors' licences, as credited in the game. Club, league, team and player names are used for identification only. Bokdle is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them, including SA Rugby or any national team. We don't use any official team names, logos, emblems or kit designs.
Liability
The game is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from using it, or from its being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other law that can't be excluded.
Privacy
See our privacy policy and PAIA manual.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
