How to play
Every day there's a new mystery green and gold player, past or present, and everyone gets the same one. You have 10 guesses. Type a name and pick it from the list. Each guess shows how close that player is to the mystery one.
The mystery player is always a green and gold player who made their Test debut after 1990 and won at least 25 caps. You can still guess any player.
- Green means a match.
- Gold means close.
- Grey means not close.
- Dashed means we don't have that fact for one of the two players, so the tile tells you nothing.
- โ / โ means the answer's number is higher / lower.
Hints
Stuck? There are two optional hints, but each one you use adds a ๐ก to your shared result.

About the data
Bokdle covers every green and gold Test player since 1891. Caps, tries, debuts, captains and World Cup squads come from English Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0), with birth dates and heights from Wikidata. The result screen also shows World Cup wins (counted when the player was in the squad at the final) and whether they captained the Boks.
